Excitement is building for Glastonbury 2025, and if you are one of the lucky people who got a ticket this year, I’m sure your mind is focused on the fantastic lineup.
The team at MyVoucherCodes has taken some of the hard work out of the prep and put together a checklist of everything you will need so that you can have the weekend of a lifetime.
The Important Stuff
If you are using this information as a personal checklist (and we are sure you are), some things are non-negotiable. It’s all over before it’s begun if you don’t remember them.
- Tickets and entry passesÂ
- ID, you will need this if you are under 25, but no matter what your age, it’s a good idea to have some ID on you.
- Bank card and cash

Festival Camping Essentials
Ensure you have somewhere comfortable to crash after a long day (and night) of dancing and singing along to your favourite artists.
- Tent (including extra tent pegs)
- Sleeping Bag
- Roll Matt or Air Bed
- Torches (don’t forget the batteries!)
- Portable Charger (at least one, two or more will have you well covered)
- Pillows (not essential, but desirable)
- Camping Chairs (again, not essential, but you will be grateful for it)
- Cooler (you can get away without one, but if the weather is hot, a cold drink is a must)
Festival Toiletries Essentials
- Toothbrush & Toothpaste
- Deodrant
- Body Wipes (make sure they are biodegradable)
- SPF & Aftersun
- Small first aid kit
- Painkillers & regular medication
- Hairbrush/comb
- Dry shampoo
- Period products
- Face and body glitter (not essential, but not as fun without it)
- Moisturiser
Festival Clothing and Accessories Essentials
- Wellies! (You might be too young to remember the mud of 1997, but I’m not)
- Walking boots/shoes
- Sliders/flip-flops
- Comfortable clothing (choose items that are good for layering)
- Plenty of underwear and socks
- Cosy PJs
- Sunhat
- Sunglasses
- Raincoat/poncho
- Bumbag
- Backpack
- Hair ties/scrunchies
- Earplugs & eye mask
- Disposable Camera (great for when you want to collect memories, without filming and missing the gig!)
- Fancy dress (optional, or is it?)
Festival Food & Drink Essentials
- Cereal & Protein Bars
- Crips/nuts
- Oranges/tangerines/bananas (fruit that has its own container)
- Instant noodles & soup
- Refillable water bottle
- Reusable mug
- Alcohol (wine box, kegs & cans)
- Instant tea & Coffee
- Sweets (for when you need a quick pick-me-up)

All of this might seem like a lot of gear – and it is! It’s a good idea to keep to these essentials and not overpack. Remember, you will need to carry it all across a field.
