No Reason to Feel Blue – The Summer Holiday Vibes Come to Mermaid Quay

Let the holiday fun begin as MERMAID QUAY get the summer holidays underway with a fantastic family event in Tacoma Square on Saturday 26th July, between 11am through to 4pm.

The OHANA FUNDAY has it all with a day of entertainment for children and families, inspired by island themes and featuring a bright blue alien mascot. There’s entertainment, creative workshops and character encounters – best of all, it’s free of charge.

Becky Jones, marketing manager at Mermaid Quay told us….

“We’re so excited to bring families together to celebrate the start of summer with our Ohana Funday.

It’s all about fun, creativity and making memories – and of course, bringing a little bit of magic to the Bay.

Whether your kids love face painting, getting crafty or just meeting a fun character, there’s something for everyone to enjoy.”

The kids get to enjoy face painting, glitter tattoos and a parrot puppet workshop where children can make and take home their own colourful creations.
