Ghost Stories Opens – Are You Brave Enough to Watch it?

You just know you’re in for a truly terrifying theatrical experience whe you go to watch a play from the minds of The League of Gentlemen’s Jeremy Dyson, and Andy Nyman, co-creator of Derren Brown’s television and stage shows. GHOST STORIES mixes the very best of theatre with the buzz of a thrill-ride, delivering something truly unique.

After exhilarating audiences for two years in the West End and across the world with record breaking, sell-out productions and a smash hit film, Ghost Stories is opening this evening at Wales Millennium Centre.

Dan Tetsell (Rivals, Disney+) will play Professor Goodman, David Cardy (Birds of a Feather, ITV) will play Tony Matthews, Clive Mantle (Casualty, BBC) will play Mike Priddle, Eddie Loodmer-Elliott (Modi: Three Days on the Wing of Madness) will play Simon Rifkind and Lloyd McDonagh (The Mind Mangler, Apollo Theatre; Ghost Stories, Ambassadors Theatre) will play The Others, with Lucas Albion as ensemble and Simon Bass as understudy.

The show started its tour at the Churchill Theatre Bromley on 17th January 2025, and finished in Cardiff this week before moving into the West End in London for Halloween.

Ghost Stories was last seen in London at the Lyric Hammersmith, transferring to the West End’s Ambassador’s Theatre in 2019.

In the show, when Professor Goodman, arch-sceptic out to debunk the paranormal, embarks on an investigation of three apparent hauntings – as recounted by a night-watchman, a teenage boy, and a businessman awaiting his first child – Goodman finds himself at the outer limits of rationality, and fast running out of explanations.

GHOST STORIES opens tonight at Wales Millennium Centre through till Saturday 2nd August. The show begins promptly at 7:30pm, or 2:30pm is you’re going to the Thursday or Saturday matinee and runs for approximately 1 hour 30 minutes, with no interval – so don’t be late.
