From stadium spectaculars and seaside skies to community celebrations, here are 30 fireworks events to explore across South Wales and the south-west.
There is something about a November evening that calls for an extra layer, a warming drink and a good reason to gather outdoors. Across South Wales, fireworks season offers all three, with displays ranging from big nights of music and entertainment to village events where the whole community comes together.
Bonfire Night falls on Thursday 5th November, but the celebrations stretch across the surrounding weekends. Some begin on Halloween, while Caerphilly’s later fireworks form part of its Christmas celebrations.
We have brought together 30 advertised events, with dates, prices and practical information wherever available. Several offer two displays, including an earlier, quieter option. Events with only partial information are identified below.
Details checked on 16th October. Prices and availability can change, and booking fees may apply. Always check the linked organiser or event listing before booking and again before travelling. “Low-noise” does not mean silent.

Caerphilly festive event information.
What about Newport’s Rodney Parade and Carmarthen?
At the time of checking, the accessible Dragons RFC fireworks announcements still related to 2025, so we have not carried last year’s Rodney Parade date or prices into this guide. Keep an eye on Dragons RFC news.
Carmarthen also needs a further organiser check: a regional guide advertises 2026 details, but the Carmarthen Round Table fireworks page still refers to 2025. Confirm directly before making plans.
Choosing your night out
For families seeking an earlier, quieter show, Abergavenny, Chepstow Racecourse and Ffos Las all explicitly advertise quieter or low-noise displays. These are still fireworks events: check suitability with the organiser if sound sensitivity is a concern.
For a free evening, Saundersfoot and Milford Haven have fireworks explicitly advertised as free by their venues. Food and fairground spending can still add up, so decide your budget before arriving.
Whichever display you choose, allow time for entry queues and the walk from parking, dress for an outdoor evening and check the organiser’s latest update before leaving home. Check accessibility, assistance-dog arrangements and any restrictions on sparklers or personal fireworks with your chosen venue.
